- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I have been there for almost 5 month and if I could I would go back there. I had a unforgettable time at the oasis. I met the most beautiful people and after a while it felt like home I was really up set to leave. Anyway I stayed almost the whole summer and we had so much fun. Mildura is a nice town to stay, u have everything u need. The hostel is good located it takes u only 15min max to walk to the main things. The nearest grocery shop is only 1min to walk. The hostel is a typical working hostel where the manager find u jobs and provid the transport. U pay 150dollar a week for a 4/6 share room with own ensuit. The Oasis has a huge outside area with swiming pool and enough space to lie down and enjoy the sun. Most peole and I worked at the garlic factory and we worked 10hours a day and 6-7 days a week - so we earned good money. There a lot of other job around this region (grapes, oranges, watermelon.....) just go there and enjoy...By monique28, June 26, 2017
